Komorebi has assisted the Women's Education & Training Program run by CareSumatra via funding and volunteering. This program educates, trains and empowers women with the skills and belief to set up their own micro business or seek employment in local guest houses,

as local guides and rangers, or to start their own homestay, warung (local eating house),

plant nursery, eco-trekking tour company, or other sustainable micro business.
